Talking about St Vincent’s in Leeds

St Vincent’s is an amazing place that provides services such as education, fighting poverty and helping anyone in their community. Almost all of the people working at St Vincent’s are volunteers, with their help they provide an invaluable service for the general public. As soon as you walk into the place you are welcomed by half a dozen people that puts you at ease straight away.

Talking with Sheena Eastwood

Walking inside St Vincents was unlike most charity buildings I’ve been to, as soon as you walk in the building you are surrounded by things for sale. There was a large variety of new and second-hand furniture, clothes, books, toys and electronics. We must have spent a good 20 minutes walking around looking at everything they had for sale. Closer to the time of the interview, we asked a member of staff where Sheena’s office was located. The gentleman guided us towards their cafe. Their selection of cakes was amazing!

Getting down to business

First of all, having a chat with Sheena was very easy. As soon as we went into the office we were greeted with a big bowl of sweets. Hearing about all their great services and the hard work they put into St Vincents was inspiring. St Vincent’s does not do a few charity events here and there they’re always open, even feeding people on Christmas day! Honest Questions would really like to work on some projects in the near future with St Vincents. If you would like to get in touch with St Vincent’s we will leave their contact information below.
